| 1. How do I register?
ElectionsUSA.net is a service provided to political
candidates who have declared their candidacy for public
office and have filed the necessary documents with their
local officials. To register, click on the Registration
button on the Home Page and follow the instructions. You
will be asked to respond to several questions regarding
your candidacy : Biography, Political Philosophy/Values,
Where I Stand on the Issues, Committees, Sponsored Bills,
Hobbies, How to Make a Financial Contribution. Please
record the information you intend to submit for these
sections on your hard drive or a floppy disk before
beginning the registration process. If
you are registering your current web-site for a
web-connection on ElectionsUSA.net, you will not need to
record this information. Please read the terms of
agreement before submitting your information.
2. Registration Office Page - on this page, you will be
asked to submit information about the office you are
seeking. If you log in again to make changes to your
registration before you are officially activated you will
need to re-enter this information.
3. The Sponsored Bills Page - you may enter any pertinent
information related to the bills you have sponsored or
your voting record. If you have never served as an
elected official, this page can be used to discuss the
legislation/bills you would support if elected.
4. Web Pages - the information you submit, beginning with
your Biography, will appear on your web pages as
formatted in these sections. As you complete the
Registration process, please remember that your
formatting decisions will determine the way your web
pages will look.
5. How should photos be transmitted?
Photos can be sent via postal
service to :1066 Washington Street, Gloucester,
MA 01930. For Security purposes, we do not
download email attachments. Please mail one color
professional photo (wallet size) and two 3x5 color
photos. Please remember that the quality of the photos
will determine how they appear on your web connection.
You may also mail a diskette with the pictures sized
correctly in a digital format. Please properly identify
your diskette. Indicate your name, state,city or town,
office held or seeking and a brief caption for the
3x5photos.

schedule.
6. Can photos, flags or images be
downloaded to support other web sites or be included in
written or electronic publications?
Photos, flags and images of
Electionsusa.net may not be downloaded for commercial
profit or purposes. The use of these photos, flags or
images without the expressed consent of Electionsusa.net
is prohibited.
7. What is the Date of Filing?
To verify your registration, you
must enter the exact date your candidacy papers were
filed, the Office of Record and its address. If you are a
current office holder registering for a web connection or
link, your last date of filing is required.
8. Incumbents - office holders may
register for a web connection even though they are not
required to run for re-election during the current
election cycle.
9. Offensive
Material - ElectionsUSA.net
reserves the right to reject any pictures, language,
information, web-sites or links which may be considered offensive by the general public. Registration fees
will be refunded to any registrant who submits material
determined by ElectionsUSA.net to be Offensive. The judgment regarding the Offensive
character of material submitted
will be at the sole discretion of ElectionsUSA.net. Once
accepted, the registrant's web connection cannot be
amended to include Offensive material. If the registrant's web
connection is amended or edited to include Offensive
material, ElectionsUSA.net will deactivate that
connection and discontinue service. In this event, the
registrant will not be entitled to a refund of
registration fees.
10. Username and Password - select
ten characters or less for each of these fields. Please
make sure you have entered the correct password before
finalizing your registration.
11. Privacy Policy and Terms of
Agreement - ElectionsUSA.net will update its Privacy
Policy and Terms of Agreement as necessary to reflect
current company policy. To review the updated Privacy
Policy and Terms of Agreement, please return to the Home
page.
